Getting started

What is Tend?

Tend is a private app for two partners in a relationship. It gives you a shared space with features like a private vault, love letters, shared questions and games, date planning, a shared canvas, and daily challenges — all designed to help you stay close.

How do I create an account?

Download Tend from the App Store, open the app, and follow the prompts to sign up. You must be 18 or over to create an account.

How do I connect with my partner?

Tend is built for two people. You pair by sharing or entering an invite code — your partner enters your code, or you enter theirs, to make the connection. You can be paired with one partner at a time, and most features unlock once you're connected.

I can't log in or I've forgotten my details

Try the recovery options on the login screen first. If you're still stuck, email us at support@tendapp.uk from the address linked to your account and we'll help you get back in.

I think someone else has accessed my account

Please contact us at support@tendapp.uk as soon as possible and we'll act quickly to help secure your account.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time from within the app's settings. If you can't find the option or need help, email support@tendapp.uk and we'll take care of it for you.

Pairing & unpairing

What happens if my partner and I unpair?

You can end a pairing at any time. If you unpair, or an account is deleted:

Re-pairing (with the same or a different partner) is allowed, but we can't guarantee content from a previous pairing can be restored. Please treat anything you want to keep as something to also save outside the app.

Subscriptions & billing

What's included with a paid subscription?

Some features of Tend are free. Others are part of a paid subscription (Tend Pro / Premium), which unlocks additional content and features described in the app at the time you subscribe.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Purchases are handled through your Apple App Store account. To manage or cancel:

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

How do I get a refund?

Because purchases are processed by Apple, refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

How do I report content or behaviour?

If you come across content or behaviour in the app that breaks our rules, please report it to support@tendapp.uk with as much detail as you can, and we'll review it.
